Q. What are the advantages of distance learning?
 

Many industry professionals seek continuing education but lack the necessary time to participate in seminars or graduate level courses available through local Maritime Colleges. Distance Learning allows the student to learn as their schedule permits. The instructor is a learning facilitator in this process. Learning is through a collaborative effort, students learn from the instructor as well as one another. Modern studies have shown that distance learning can be even more effective environment than the traditional classroom.
